NYU Pride

Losing Control

How can individuals regain control over their lives during this pandemic? Is there a way to create a sense of normalcy? NYU DC Dialogues presented a discussion on the psychological and physiological impacts of stress and the ways in which individuals can seek to manage it. Featured panelists included Dr. Emily Balcetis, Associate Professor of Psychology, NYU College of Arts & Sciences, Dr. Lawrence Balter (GSAS), Psychologist, Professor Emeritus of Applied Psychology, NYU Steinhardt, and Dr. Zoe Ragouzeos (MSW '06), Associate Vice President, Student Mental Health, NYU, who moderated the discussion. The panel was introduced by Riley Searcey, NYU First Year Liberal Studies Student and current DC Dialogues Executive Board Communications Manager.
