The Kingdom of Saudi Arabi (KSA) has embarked on an ambitious agenda to diversify the country’s reliance on oil through investments (in partnership with international players) in tourism, entertainment, import substitution industries, etc. The transformation program is underpinned by the so-called “Giga projects” (eg Red Sea, Amaala, NEOM, Qiddiya, etc.) but entails hundreds of other initiatives requiring substantial investment over the next 5-10 years.
