Award recipients can be recognized in six distinct categories to celebrate and recognize their exemplary commitment. Alumni clubs and volunteers are reviewed and selected by the NYU Alumni Association Board and celebrated at the annual alumni volunteer recognition event. This year's honorees include: NYU Asian, Pacific Islander, & Desi Alumni Network, NYU Alumni Club in France, Rebecca Alva (STEINHARDT ’96), Ife Lawal (TANDON ’18), NYU Alumni Club in Los Angeles, and Elio Martinez, Jr. (LAW ’85).
